This morning, I am proud to show you our new television ad, “Creating Opportunity”. Like the previous ad – “Leading with Integrity” – our new ad is running statewide on Fox News Channel and on all major networks. The ad highlights my 20 years of business experience in Nevada — working with my husband to create thousands of private sector jobs.
Beating Harry Reid this year will take a candidate who is not afraid to step up to a challenge to claim victory. I have taken on a powerful, entrenched politician. In 1992, in a 3-to-1 Democratic district, I upset the sitting Democratic State Senate Majority Leader. My election victory switched the Nevada Senate from Democrat to Republican control. This allowed me to help fight higher taxes, excessive spending — while serving as the deciding vote in protecting Nevada’s “Right to Work” law.
Washington is broken and leaders there are making matters worse for us in Nevada. Help me keep my ads on the air and help me win this campaign. With your help, we’ll beat Harry Reid in November. With your help, we’ll stop the higher taxes, deficit spending and government takeover policies that are bankrupting our families.
