What LEGAL IMMIGRANTS THINK!

Submitted by: John Butler
Yes the legal immigrants want nothing to do with amnesty. They are just like us. They worked for what they have. And they are paying for it just like us. Just like when they take illegals in before him at a hsptl. And I was at Walgreens one day getting a prescripion. Paid my copay while an illegal with 3 little kids pulled out her Mexicare card and 6 prescriptions cost her nothing.

You are right. They are not going to stop having babies and give up all the money and benefits. So while Americans are paying for illegals kids they can’t afford to have children of their own.

Stop having kids?  And lose benefits/sympathy?  Why did Octomom have 8 more when she already had a gaggle of them at home?  If there were no benefit to it, they would be having abortions on our nickel.  No matter how you cut it, the rest of us are forced to suck it up and live with less while our tax dollars are squandered and the recipients demand more.   Hell the woman you mentioned will need free childcare to go to ‘culinary school’ and will then most likely enjoy some grant or ‘loan’ to get her ‘slop shop’ opened.  At least Bush enacted legislation that cut the out of wedlock birthrate by some 40%.

I don’t know what is worse:  free homes to non-producers who then expect more or the people who are receiving the home buyer stimulus funds in tax rebates.  Some of the buyers are receiving the $8,000 rebates for $ 800,000 homes!!  Golly, the poor people could not afford a new home otherwise…right?  Meanwhile, the victims of mortgage/builder/title/investment fraud are homeless and ruined with NO help, abuse by the courts involved and refusal of our Justice Department to step in and prosecute the offenders.  The hoops and expense required by the State agencies make it impossible for the fraud victims to realize the deserved recompense and redress from funds set up for that purpose.  Instead, the offenders at the highest levels are gifted with money out of our Treasury.  Hey, otherwise, where would their political cronies get millions in campaign funds and other payoffs?  Katrina refugees who were on welfare prior to the floods were able to go to FEMA and other agencies for long term assistance with everything from paperwork to housing and money.  Nothing like this is available for the Economic Theft Disaster Victims who cannot deal with the paperwork and cannot afford to reproduce the documents and ship them to the state agencies who will then either cut a check from the funds paid by the offending industry or find a loophole to prevent recovery for the victim.

Like the cash for clunkers scam…the cost to us will far outweigh any short term benefits; like convincing people the home market is ‘rebounding’ just in time for next year’s elections.

Illegals stop?  Huh?  I know a Mexican who came here legally twenty years ago and has paid taxes and worked to earn his American citizenship and rights.  He was telling me the other day that he has in-laws…“several adults and a bunch of kids living in Atlanta with no papers”.  He told me how angry he is over the fact that they drive nice cars, pay no rent (welfare takes care of that),  receive food stamps/Medicaid and everything else the system has to offer, free education and pick up 6 boxes of free food per month.  They send all the money they make (cash under the table…no taxes) to Mexican banks for safekeeping.  According to him “They have lots of money…”.   And here he is busting his hump to take care of his wife and two children and cannot get any help for their medical bills.  He hates the current Administration and the current Healthcare Legislation, etc because he understands it is not ‘FREE’ and limits our personal liberties.  He understands that the very reasons he came here are disappearing.  He said he raised a big stink in the ER recently when his daughter was very ill and he watched an entire non-English speaking family ushered into an examining area ahead of her even though they arrived after.  They apologized and immediately admitted her for treatment with a very high fever, etc.  He then observed the seemingly healthy family receiving care and free medicine.  He was given an expensive RX to fill at the pharmacy.

I’m feeling quite ‘postal’ at the moment….can you tell?
