Tea Party Patriots Deliver Rubber Chickens to Senators - Dec. 2nd
Message to Senators: The chickens will come home to roost in 2010, and Americans are paying close attention to the health care legislation vote.
On Wednesday, December 2nd at 11:30 am, Tea Party Patriots will have a special delivery for the Senators who voted in favor of cloture on the Reid Health Care Bill. Tea Party Patriots will deliver rubber chickens to Senators.
Enough is enough. The silent majority will be silent no more. The sleeping giant has been awakened and we will be heard. Here are the facts:
· 2 million people gathered in Washington, DC on September 12 to protest out of control government legislation. We know they heard us but they chose to ignore us.
· With less than 5 business days of planning, another 60,000 people gathered in Washington, DC on November 5, 2009 to tell their Congressmen to vote “no” on the health care bill.
· Senators now change the rules of who can enter the Senate Building in order to keep constituents at bay; they take their phones off the hook to ignore our calls; refuse to accept faxes and emails; refuse repeated requests to meet with constituents, and on the rare occasions they do respond they send form letters thanking us for supporting them. Senators call American citizens “evil-mongers” and “radicals.” Their disdain for the majority American citizens is an outrage.
· Rasmussen Reports 53-56% of Americans oppose any health care legislation, 60% of Americans say it will increase the deficit, and 71% of Americans are angry at the Federal Government. Jenny Beth Martin Tea Party Patriots National Coordinator asks, “Why won’t these Congressmen and Senators listen to ‘We the People’? Today, despite their attempts to ignore the citizens of the nation, we’re sending the politicians a message that Americans are watching them closely, we’re tired of their lies and games, and that and that the chickens will come home to roost in 2010.”

Call their offices locally and in DC and let them know that the chickens are coming home to roost in 2010 and 2012 and that the American people will hold them accountable if they fail to listen.
