Kincaid’s reports only indicate his relationship with communist organizations. This relationship is not a point of contention. Davis’s biographer, Professor Edgar Tidwell, disclosed the only empirical proof of his CPUSA membership.

Kincaid’s report, however, does NOT contain any proof that he was an “avowed communist.” Kincaid himself reported that Davis was a closet communist. A “closet communist” and “avowed communist” are mutually exclusive, so he could hardly have been both.

Kal, Attorney General’s List furnished to the Loyalty Review Board and released to the press by the U.S. Civil Service Commission, December 4 1947 and September 21 1948. In the House Un-American Activities Committee Report on the Civil Rights Congress, it was cited as an organization formed in April 1946 as a merger of two other Communist front organizations, the International Labor Defense (ILD) and the National Federation for Constitutional Liberties (NFCL); “dedicated not to the broader issues of civil liberties, but specifically to the defense of individual Communists and the Communist Party” and “controlled by individuals who are either members of the Communist Party or openly loyal to it.” The organization was redesignated on April 27 1953 by the U.S. Attorney General pursuant to Executive Order 10450. Report prepared from the files of the House Committee on Un-American Activities for Senate William E. Jenner, Chairman of the Senate Internal Security Subcommittee, October 20 1953, reproduced in Who Was Frank Marshall Davis?, Cliff Kincaid and Herbert Romerstein. pp. 12-14.

Back to the basic point of contention: Frank Marshall Davis. Two questions:

1. Do you still contend that Davis was an “avowed communist”? If so, please link to any primary source evidence in which Davis avows support for communist doctrine.

2. Why do you consider Davis his “surrogate father figure.” That seems quite an exaggeration, especially since “Dreams” indicates that Obama didn’t even visit Davis during his high school years.

Kal, Squirm as you like but you cannot change facts. A good example is Obama’s lame speech at West Point. The German Press saw this as the case! Even Chris Matthews, a rabid Liberal supporter of Obama labeled West Point as, “The camp of the enemy!”
Your research must be directeed to Liberal sources as the proof is in the pudding! Why else would Obama surround himself with known Communist sympathisers?

“At least 50% of these statements are fact” hardly inspires confidence in your accuracy. At least 50% of ex-D.A. Mike Nifong’s statements may also have been fact, but all it takes is one lie to destroy your credibility. 50% is not good enough for journalists or any other honest researcher. Recycling falsehoods is not journalism.

As a matter of fact, I have done extensive research on the disinformation campaign against the Obama-Davis relationship. As a retired Air Force Intelligence Officer with specific training in Deception Analysis by the C.I.A. in 1989, I am researching the persistence of disinformation in the blogosphere. I am familiar with disinformation campaigns, including Pope Gregory’s misrepresentation of Mary Magdalene, Russian and German misrepresentation of Judaism, Operation Fortitude protecting the D-Day invasion, Operation Left Hook protecting the coalition drive into Kuwait, and the misrepresentation of the Iraqi threat this century. This disinformation campaign fits the pattern epitomized by “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,” where a target is smeared through deliberate misrepresentation.

It is evident that the author of the article has done research. Kal, you may not agree with all of the research, but it is apparent that you have not done ANY research. If you had, you would have to admit that , at least, 50% of these statements are FACT. Personally, I have read these facts in numerous articles for months – and they cannot be refuted.
