AG Eric Holder and Mr. Barron are half-right. The government MUST honor it’s contractual obligations. What the AG and Mr. Barron don’t understand, or just simply ignore; is “equal protection of the law”. ALL PARTIES to a contract MUST be protected. This administration is protecting one party, namely ACORN; while failing to protect the other party, namely the government of “We the People”.
We’ve seen the complaints against ACORN; we’ve demanded an investigation of ACORN; yet, this administration has done little, if anything, to protect us from what appears to be a “criminal” organization. (Of course, we realize that ACORN helped them get into power; and they’re not going to bite the hand that feeds them.) However, they are doing the same foolish type of things that they accused the Bush administration of doing.
Hopefully, in January 2011, there will be enough in Congress, who will stand for justice. There are those in this administration who should be charged with treason, fraud, and derelection of duty (or with compliciency in such matters). Those who are found guilty should be dispensed with according to the law. Truth and justice MUST prevail. It doesn’t matter which political party the accused are from; nor does it matter which party the administration is from; for justice is blind and NO political party is above the law; not even the Constitution Party.
If the current administration has credible evidence of wrongdoing by the Bush administration; then let them bring it to a court of law. Let the truth be told. Those who acted appropriately within the law MUST be cleared of charges. Those who have violated the law MUST be punished accordingly. Otherwise, justice will NOT be served.
Let us stand for truth, no matter where that leads. Let the “chips” fall where they may.
