What is We the People ?
We the People is the organization of freedom loving Alabama citizens that intends to reclaim the freedoms that have been incrementally stolen from us in recent decades and provide for the secure effective continuation of our representative form of government by establishing institutions never before attempted to assist our elected representatives in complying with their oath of office and the Constitution of the United States by institutionalizing citizen vigilance and providing constituent supervision of government at all levels.
Why We the People ?
We the People can no longer trust or depend on many of the people and institutions upon which we have previously relied to defend and preserve our constitutional liberties.
We the People have been witness to the incremental dismantling of our Constitution and the imposition of socialist tyranny on the American people by an ever expanding government bureaucracy that is controlled by corporate, financial and/or other special interests.
We the People have had enough of arrogant elected representatives and corrupt government employees.
Our Mission
We the People seek to reignite the passion for individual liberty and are dedicated to the founding constitutional principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; committed to the belief that all men are created equal where one individual’s rights, voice and civic responsibilities are no more or less significant than anyone else’s and intend to hold our elected officials and other public servants at all levels of government accountable for their actions to those whom they serve… We the People.

The system of educating future citizens on their constitutional heritage has been by design or incompetence incrementally reduced to little more than indoctrination by statists who believe that individual liberty should be subservient to the will of the state. In our lifetime, the American people as a whole have been “dumbed down”, deceived and manipulated into believing that they are still a “Free” people. |

We the People Foundation is the educational arm of We the People where all citizens can freely learn about our constitutional heritage, the freedoms we are supposed to be enjoying and how we have lost the ones we no longer enjoy. With the knowledge that is available here, combined with the knowledge available from other sources, each citizen can be better equipped to safeguard their freedom and pass on to their children and grandchildren the opportunity for a better life free from socialist oppression.

All media reporting, left, right as well as the so called “mainstream” has become so politically biased and agenda driven that We the People can no longer trust the validity of the information being presented. |
| Alabama Minuteman Reports is the information arm of We the People that provides member citizens with news, commentary and analysis on the activities of government unreported by the “mainstream media” that could have an adverse affect on the people’s ability to defend their freedoms. Alabama Minuteman Reports is owned, staffed and operated only by member citizens with the passion for our constitutional heritage and preserving their freedoms for themselves and future generations.

Today, many of our elected representatives either act in their own best interests or are so arrogant as to believe they know what is best for the rest of us. They seem to be more interested in getting re-elected, lining their own pockets or or promoting some special interest agenda than they are about complying with their oath of office or defending the Constitution. |

We the People Alabama Office of Citizen Vigilance is the branch of We the People that, among other functions, monitors and reports to the people on the activities of government at all levels. With sufficient membership, We the People will establish offices of citizen vigilance in each of Alabama’s 7 congressional districts to assist our elected representative in complying with their oath of office and the Constitution for the United States as well as hold accountable those who don’t.

We the People are looking for individuals with a passion for individual liberty, respect for our Constitutional heritage, the fervent desire to pass that heritage on to future generations, and/or those who just think our country is headed in the wrong direction and who wish to participate in or, at the very least, support these ideals and efforts. We the People have a choice to make
As individuals we can no longer do nothing and expect to keep our freedoms. Doing nothing has brought us to where were are today. Freedom must be defended at a minimum with eternal vigilance, because there is always someone who wants to take it away. To maintain Liberty, one must either stay informed and confront tyranny head on, or, at the very least, support those who will.

you can do nothing and continue to finance your own enslavement. If you decide to do nothing, fear not, because there will always be someone somewhere who will gladly make your decisions for you, tell you what you can and cannot do and provide themselves a very comfortable living at your expense.
