There is NO WAY we should allow any “Health care reform” to be used as an opportunity to use federal funds to pay for elective abortions!
Yet the 2,000+ page plan that Speaker Pelosi is pushing for THIS WEEKEND with the government takeover of health care does just that:
On page 110, line 17, section 222 under “Abortions for which Public Funding is Allowed” the Health and Human Services Secretary, the pro-abortion ‘Catholic’ Kathleen Sebelius, is given the authority to decide when abortion is allowed under the government-run plan.
The horrible Pelosi plan also requires that at least one insurance plan offered in the Exchange covers abortions.
And a monthly abortion premium will be charged of all enrollees in the government-run plan! On page 96, line 16, section 213, under “Insurance Rating Rules” we’ve discovered that the premium will be paid into a U.S. Treasury account—and that these federal funds will be used to pay for the abortion services.
Also, Section 213 describes how the Health Benefits Commissioner is to assess the monthly premiums that will be used to pay for elective abortions under the government-run plan—and that the Commissioner must charge at a minimum $1 per enrollee per month.
We must speak out, pray and work to protect the preborn babies, and to let others know that Speaker Pelosi’s 2,000+ page “health” care plan is deadly and costly.
