On November 13-15, 2009, the Nevada Republican Party will elect new officers and directors for the upcoming term. YOUR voice must be heard if you want to insure that those officers elected are true Conservatives and share the core values of true Conservatives. If you remain silent, you inevitably lose your right to elect those you believe should be the new spokesmen for the State Republican Party. If you remain silent, you will be forced to accept those elected by other members of the party who may not share your core values and won’t support those candidates you believe should be elected.
Since this election is less than a month away, you need to join your County’s Republican Central Committee. . Please take the time to join NOW! Your participation and your voice are essential in determining the direction the Nevada Republican Party will take in the future. Pledge now that you will do your part to guarantee Conservatism is restored to the Nevada Republican Party and that the newly-elected party officials will support Conservative candidates who are running in the 2010 mid-term election for U.S. Senate, U.S. House of Representatives, etc.
The time has also arrived where it is crucial that you, as voters in 2010, do your research. Learn about ALL of the various candidates running for office in 2010. Attend as many events as you can to hear the various candidates speak; visit the candidates’ websites and study the information each candidate provides. Ask candidates the questions that you most want answers to. Then choose the candidate you think most closely represents your core values, your views and whom will best represent your interests. Share the information you accumulate with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. Urge them to get involved as well. Put together a fundraiser for your candidate; arrange for your candidate to speak to the groups you’re active in; organize a campaign support group in your area. Take the initiative and get your candidate elected! The candidates can set forth their positions, views and goals for the future, but only YOU can get them elected to office.
The 2010 election is one of the most important upcoming mid-term elections in our history. It is imperative that we replace the incumbent U.S. Senate and House members by electing Conservative Republicans in order to restore the checks and balances set forth in the Constitution of the United States. Clearly, one-party rule is not working to serve the best interests of Americans. The massive spending bills still pending before Congress .. the proposed increases in federal taxes that will impact all Americans .. the overhaul of our health care system by the federal government .. all the entitlement programs proposed by this Congress and this Administration .. These pending bills and proposed future legislation can only be eliminated and/or prevented if Conservative Republicans are elected to the Senate and House.
Bill Parson is the Constitutional Conservative that you want to replace Harry Reid in 2010. Bill has already garnered huge support in Nevada’s rural areas and northern part of the State, as well as gaining huge support in the Mesquite/Moapa Valley area. We need your continued support in those areas; and we need your support and efforts to gain momentum in Clark County. If you’ve chosen Bill Parson as your candidate, please volunteer to work on the campaign if you can. Also, we would greatly appreciate a donation to the campaign to help Bill continue to run for this very important U.S. Senate Seat. Your support and donations are particularly important to insure that Bill’s candidacy is still viable through the Primary and to guarantee that Bill’s name will be on the Primary Ballot in June.
You can also help by writing or calling your local newspapers and TV/ radio stations and demanding that all of the candidates receive equal media coverage and not just those candidates with name recognition or “celebrity status.” The voters of this great State are entitled to be fully informed about their choices so that they can make an informed decision with regard to each candidate. Tell the media that the VOTERS will choose their next Senator, Congressmen and local elected officials, NOT the media. We all watched as the media set the agenda and steered the 2008 Presidential election. And now we all know how that turned out. You can prevent that from happening again in 2010 if you stand up, speak loudly, become educated, become involved .. and VOTE!!
