House Rules Committee is meeting at 3 p.m. to decide the fate of the Broadcaster Freedom Amendment. Call today and demand an up-or-down vote on the Walden-Pence Broadcaster Freedom Amendment.

We are sounding the alarm to ALL members of the MRC Action team to immediately contact members of the House Rules Committee and demand an up-or-down vote on the Walden-Pence Broadcaster Freedom Amendment.
This amendment would prevent the FCC from reinstating the so-called “Fairness” Doctrine or proposed broadcast localism regulations during the next fiscal year. It is a key step toward preventing government censorship of the airwaves and protecting our cherished First Amendment right to freedom of speech.

As mentioned above, the House Rules Committee is meeting at 3 p.m. EST to decide which amendments to allow for tomorrow’s vote. We need to make sure the Walden-Pence Amendment is included.
