I think Obama is an incompetent and naive community organizer with an ego problem but after watching the video a dozen times i have to agree that he was merely making introductions and was not being snubbed…..
I was so hoping it was true, if for no other reason than to point out the hypocrisy of the media in not reporting such an important international occurrence, but i think, actually, we might have got caught looking at it through Obama hater glasses….

Watch O’s hand closely… clearly he is extending it for a handshake. In each succeeding effort he extends it less and less. Compound that with the distressed facial expressions suggests that he was indeed snubbed.
Someone should be able to identify the “Americans Obama brought with him” if he was indeed introducing the men to Medvedev.

If you look closer, Brad, you will notice that Obama stretched out his hand 1st to shake hands. After 4 attempts where none of the men reciprocated their outstretched hands to him…he casually pointed toward the 5th person who then shook the hand of the other man…as did all of the men.
none of the men even flinched or made a move to grasp Obama’s hand, clearly eliminating the “embarassing-and-awkward-hand-shaking-mix-up”

Second 4-14 – Now we proceed to the supposed snubbing. But wait now where are those Flags? See both how far away they suddenly are and also the long line of delegates that they must have walked by. Those closest to the Flags are probably the ruskies that Obama presumably did shake hands with. All that was edited out of the video and we’ve skipped to the American delegates.

Why is Obama about 2 people ahead from the man is supposedly ‘introducing people to?” And, when you last introduced one person to another, did’t you face the two of them as you did that? I was a Campaign Charman and a Campaign Manager…in both positions I introduced many people to Candidates. I ALWAYS faced the two and made certain that I pronounced the names of both clearly so as to avoid any confusion. Do you see Obama looking away as he ‘introduces?’ If he does then it is even worse than being snubbed!

Are you even watching the same video? He’s not 2 people ahead. He puts his hand out as to say, “This is Bob, this is John…” and then the Russian president shakes their hand. Lee, they are American delegates traveling w/ Obama! When you go to a party and introduce people you brought with you, do you shake the hands of the people you are introducing your friends to? No! That’s because you ALREADY KNOW THEM! If you notice in the beginning of the clip, the Russian president introduces Obama to the guys at the start of the line. That’s because they are Russians. Obama reaches out to shake the first guys hand and the clip cuts to the end of the line. You obviously have a lot of passion in your anti-Obama stance…you really should direct it towards another vehicle…one that’s not as trivial and obvious as this.

Because of you and those like you (including my husband and Mr. A above) I live in a country that allows me to have the freedom of speech and right to my opinion and you to yours. I cannot imagine living anywhere else as I live in the greatest country in the world. I respect your opinion, however, I disagree. I understand that you don’t care for President Obama, and I must say, I’m not too sure of him yet either. BUT, based on this video and the one in Saudi Arabia, I truly feel he is introducing people in line. I’ve been part of recieving lines myself (mostly military in nature, with my husband) and I’ve seen this done differently many times. I feel it’s just the personality of the person that determines how he/she introduces another. It takes a long time to get through a line like that. You don’t always have the opportunity to “face” the person. Plus, different cultures have different guidelines for how they are greeted. I’m sure you are aware of this having been a “campaign manager.” Anyway, this is just how I am seeing it in the video. I was not there. Again, I’m not a fan, I did not vote for this man. I am, however, going to give him the respect and chance he deserves. Thank you again for the argument. Hopefully we can respectfully agree to disagree in this instance. I enjoy many of the other articles you have written and will return to read more. Take care.

While – for some folks perhaps – it would be nice to think that the American President was dissed by Russians politicos, the fact is that Obama was introducing Dmitry Medvedev to his (Obama’s) staff, you can clearly see Rahm Emmanuel standing in the group which is beng pointed to by Obama. If you stop and start the video, you will see Obama’s mouth moving as he tells Medvedev who each person is; he tilts his head sideways, and indicates with his hand. It’s quite clear, and if some of you “online observers” knew more, and were really in touch, you would have known that the folks Obama is pointing to, are his own staff, because you would have recognised their faces from the Media…. but hey, what’s the truth when there’s garbage to throw.
Sad day when Americans are inclined to rejoice at even the possibility that their own leader might be snubbed – where’s your own patriotism you Obama haters??? There was a time when the average American rallied behind the President, regardless of which party was in power… but it seems there has been so much acrimonious (look it up) exchange between Republicans and Democrats over the past 20 years, that some folks would even sell out their country in order to see the opposite political party humiliated. Let me rephrase that. What I may or may not ingest is irrelevant to the question of who it is in the line of people in the video. All sources say it is the US delegation. Not only that, but at least one is recognizable. The one in Pic #37 at the Washington Post has been identified as Michael McFaul, one of Obama’s senior Russia advisers.
If, despite this evidence, you still think they were not Americans, but Russians snubbing the President, I would like to know why.

Glad this is circulating. It shows even the Russians hate his guts. Obama is a disgrace to America. Looks like Obama is getting the message that he’s looked on with disdain throughout the world as a lying idiot. Noone has respect for him unless they’re progressive destroyers of freedom.
