Desert Conservative Visitor,

I have some news that you, as a conservative, are going to love. Virtually no one in the liberal media is reporting this – because they know you, as a conservative, will love it.

Despite what you’ve been hearing in the leftist press for months about conservatism in America being dead, just-released polling data from Gallup and Rasmussen indicate that not only isn’t conservatism dead, it’s actually on the rise!

In fact, America is making a mad dash toward conservatism!

According to Gallup, “Americans, by a 2-to-1 margin, say their political views in recent years have become more conservative rather than more liberal, 39% to 18%.” Perhaps even more telling is that last month 40% of Americans polled called themselves conservative—the highest level since 2004! Only 21% of Americans consider themselves liberal, according to the poll.

As conservatives, we are not alone! In fact, more Americans are moving in our direction.

And guess what else the leftist news media aren’t reporting? They aren’t reporting that America is rejecting Obama’s socialism.

Obama’s approval rating is free-falling on economic issues. The latest Rasmussen poll reports that 56% of Americans rate Obama fair or poor on the economy compared to 50% just one week ago.

It’s clear from these two highly respected polling agencies that reports on the death of conservatism are just more liberal media lies!

++ Bringing the Truth to Light …

Of course we can’t expect Obama’s liberal media lapdogs to report these trends. These are the same liberal media that failed to report that Obama’s trillion-dollar “stimulus” bill is a disaster. Rather than reducing unemployment as he promised, we now have the highest unemployment rate in more than 25 years!

No. The liberal media are not interested in balanced reporting or telling the truth. They are too consumed with selling the American people on Obama’s socialist buffet of government power grabs. First it was the banks and insurance giants. Then the auto companies. Now they are focused on two of the biggest intrusions of the government into the private sector yet – a radical health care takeover plan and a massive Energy Tax scheme.

But as Americans discover Obama’s true intent to reshape our nation into a European socialist state, they are surging back to us, and toward conservatism!

That’s why our role at the Media Research Center is so important—so vital during this critical time in our nation’s history when our freedom and way of life are under attack. We are uniquely positioned to challenge the liberal media every day—free of spin and dedicated to the truth.

With your help, we will be focusing our efforts in the coming weeks on forcing the media to tell the truth when it comes to the three things the administration and Congress plan to jam down our throats before they leave on summer recess:

The more people know about ObamaCare and the other socialist policies, the more they want to run the other way. The polls confirm it.

That’s why I am challenging you to stay informed about these three critical issues by taking advantage of the resources the MRC makes available online. And to involve your friends and family. Our health, our standard of living, and our way of life are at stake!
