Indeed a LOAD!

What a Load of Cap and Trade

By Lisa Richards

Apparently the light bulbs I purchase are illegal and I will be forced to acquire special
energy efficient lighting
under Obama’s Cap and Trade Bill known as “Waxman-Markey Bill”
and “America’s Clean Energy and Security Act.”  The bill was passed under American noses glued
to media coverage of a neurotic, narcissistic pop star accused of molestation, admitting to “ha
[ving] little boys in [his] bed.”  It’s too bad light bulbs in the brains of Americans did not
turn on, demanding NO votes or lose legislative jobs in the next election.

If you hate being warm throughout winter, cool during summer, reading with lights at night,
despise Americans working, adore seeing Chinese and Indians take American jobs, disbelieve
Americans should drive cars (you’re one of those liberal lunatics who believes Americans
should ride horses on highways), using gasoline to fuel motor vehicles (you think everyone
should drive electric cars, but not use electric energy,) you deem paying exorbitant property,
income, death, marriage, and all taxes “patriotic,” you’re going to love the load of cap and
trade Obama shoveled on you.

Here is the list of anti-capitalist Republicans who voted YES on Obama’s global warming Cap
and Trade bill to kill America:

Mary Bono Mack (Calif.)
Michael Castle (Del.)
Mark Kirk (Ill.)
Leonard Lance (N.J.)
Frank LoBiondo (N.J.)
John McHugh (N.Y.)
Dave Reichert (Wash.)
Chris Smith (N.J.)

Remember their names: vote them out of office next election.

If you said yes to anti-American, anti-capitalist, pro-socialist/Marxist political demolition,
I hope your candles set your eyebrows on fire.

As for Barry Obama: every lamp I own is antique, they have been passed down through
generations.  I have no intention of purchasing new lighting just to satisfy your hate of all
things American and capitalist.  Great Nana’s lamps will stay and I will turn them on as often
as I want.

Incidentally Barry darling, I still have my ancestors hurricane sconce lamps (they once used
kerosene) in every room, as well as dozens in my kitchen pantry.  Hurricane lamps are still a
necessity when storms hit New England

We New Englanders love hurricane lamp décor appeal, we hated that kerosene stench.  Now we
have unscented lamp oil.  There is one problem: oil lamps can burn houses down.  The reason
people prefer electricity over candles and oil lamps.

If Barry O gets his way, Americans will read by oil lamp light and a fire extinguisher.

Americans need heat and cooling.  Every year elderly die from the heat in un-cooled
apartments.  Tens of thousands died in Europe several years ago because Europeans do not cool
their homes during summer: they go to the beach, leaving elderly home to die in the heat.

Logically speaking that is population control.  The elderly are useless when welfaring the
lazy young is essential to world progress.

Without energy America cannot run.  Obama and his cronies—in both parties—blame foreign oil,
yet forbid drilling domestically, ending foreign dependency.  Liberals refuse using the safest
and cheapest energy: nuclear.  Liberals brainwashed Americans into believing Three Mile Island
was an Armageddon disaster.  No one died at Three Mile Island, and cancer rumors were proven
false.

France runs efficiently and safely on nuclear.  Liberals prevent America from its use. Why;
America would save money on energy and saved money enriches Americans.  That’s the truth.
Investing and growing money creates capital, something abhorred by rich liberals.

Under Obama’s Cap and Trade, “electricity rates will skyrocket.”  They must in order for the
Messiah to crucify the American people.  Jobs will be hurled overseas, putting millions of
Americans out of work, unable to pay bills.

Obama is enacting a national energy tax.  The more electricity and gasoline Americans consume,
the more money fined.

Light bulbs, hot tubs, Air-conditioning, heating, and cars, etc will be restricted.  The list
went unread before the House vote.  It is too long for politicians to have quickly read.

Not to worry, the reading of Michael Jackson’s will receive detailed attention by Geraldo
Rivera
.

Washington claims sending jobs overseas will force India and China to enact emissions laws,
cleaning their environments.  Pardon me but I don’t care India and China choke on their
pollution.  Those countries are not going to change because Barry O tells them to.  They have
America’s jobs and factories and emissions have not changed.  So long as those nations are
controlled by dictators, communism, and religions starving people for the sake of cows, they
will never become efficient and wealthy.

America should not be driven down to third world levels to appease China.

Carbon caps don’t save, they destroy.  U.S. costs will rise.  Countries will not do business
with a costly country.  America will not be able to compete.  China will take American
business and capital.

China ignores carbon restrictions and will never be forced to adhere to laws.  It would be
globally racist to enforce laws on communists.

China is rubbing its hands together with glee.  They care only about themselves as America
worries more about the world than Americans in need of jobs, keeping homes from foreclosure,
losing healthcare to welfare, illegals, and banning Tylenol.

Fear not, liberals want illicit drugs made legal.  If your head hurts find a guy who sells
drugs out of his car.

The way things are going that may be the only way Americans can purchase guns: illegally,
which seems to be fine with liberals who do nothing to prevent unlawful gun sales while
precluding legal firearms.

The economic answer is competition: allow U.S. companies to drill, build nuclear, clean coal,
natural gas, permit market investing, growing private money, starting businesses that employ
others.  Encourage competition, create hybrid SUV’s, trucks and large luxury sedans Americans
love, and get rid of the unions preventing corporate competition in favor of their own self-
interest.

This nation was built on the above.  The poor (known as Robber Barons for becoming wealthy)
became wealthy as a result of using their talents.

The Cap and Trade Bill prevents the above.  Affordable resources are forbidden.  High priced
energy will be the only power available.  The lie of global warming science is the culprit.
The UN International Panel on Climate Change does the predictions.  Fortunes are spent on TV
ads brainwashing Americans into believing Polar Bears are starving because ice is might be
melting due to gasoline and electricity use.  If ice melts, Polar Bears have an easier time
catching what they live on: fish under miles of frozen water.

The Polar Bear population doubled in the last decade.  If global warming is true, it’s saving
hungry Polar Bears.

China pollutes the world and is rewarded with U.S. companies and jobs.  According to Senator
James Inhofe
’s June 30, 2009 Human Events column: “…China’s initial reaction to the Waxman-
Markey bill…was criticized by China for being too weak.”  In other words, make cap laws
tougher so China can have everything America owns.  How does Obama react; Inhofe’s writes:

…this administration’s position is to let China off the hook.  Nowhere in the U.S. submission
to the conference do we require China to commit to any binding emission reduction requirements
before 2020.  In fact, before 2020, the submission only asks for “nationally appropriate”
mitigation actions, followed by a “low carbon strategy for long term net emissions reductions
by 2050.”…we give the best to China and leave America with Waxman-Markey.

China is against emissions restrictions, demanding tougher standards for the U.S.  Inhofe
notes China’s insists the U.S. “subsidize [China’s] economy with billions in foreign aid.”
Obama is in agreement.  China further “…believes the U.S. and other Western nations should…
reduce their greenhouse gas emissions by 40% below 1990 levels by 2020…Waxman-Markey…calls for
a 17% reduction below 2005 levels by 2020…the Chinese and other developing countries
collectively argue that the price for reducing their emissions is a massive 1% of GDP from the
U.S. and other developed countries.”

I say we reduce our factories in China and let them ask Japan for help.
