Reid Confirms Obama & McCain Have Agreed to Pass Illegal Alien Amnesty!
Huge Effort Needed To Defeat It!
DEAR Desert Conservative Visitor,
In 2007 and 2008, NumbersUSA defeated more than a dozen Illegal Alien Amnesties. We got the border fence approved by Congress. Things looked almost easy.
Things are no longer easy.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid has now confirmed that President-Elect Obama has made a pact with Sen. John McCain to ram an Illegal Alien Amnesty down America’s throat during the first part of the new administration, probably by Spring.
Reid also states that he is willing block the critically important E-Verify program (which keeps illegal aliens out of jobs) if that is what it takes to get this amnesty. He seems to believe his bigger majorities in Congress will somehow eliminate opposition from the people. Senator Reid says, and I quote:
“I don’t expect much of a fight at all. Now health care is going to be difficult. That’s a very complicated issue. [But ] we debated at great length immigration. People understand the issues very well.“
–Sen. Harry Reid
Lee Adds: As usual Senator Reid is talking about healthcare when the issue is amnesty!

With such an Amnesty, America will open a door, which we never get closed again! TERRIBLE and a slap in the face of all LEGAL aliens. Why should ILLEGAL people get rewarded for their ILLEGAL actions? On the other hand, people with an investor visa will be checked after expiration of the visa and it might be possible, that they have to leave the country - people who brought money and jobs to the United States might have to leave and ILLEGAL aliens are allowed to stay and to get money from welfare, free medicare, etc. - that’s perverted. Germany had and has an immigration in the social systems and watch the results! Do we need to make the same mistakes????

I know some conservative people who would like to leave Germany and live in the USA but don’t have a Green Card or a visa yet. Should they now come as a visitor and stay here illegaly to benefit from the amnesty? Or is the amnesty only for reliable voters for the liberals, that means people who would like to get welfare cheques and free medicare???
