Obama’s Cheeseburger Plan

Obama has a cheeseburger plan.

He is offering $1.95 more a day in middle class tax cuts than McCain’s plan.

The $1.95 is like when Caesar would throw bread to the mobs of citizens to keep them happy.

I guess Obama is throwing happy meals at the mobs of citizens.

At the same time, Obama will increase taxes on job creation capital investments.

He will move money from a productivity pool to a consumption pool.

McCain will reduce taxes on job creation capital investments.

If you want more McDonald jobs then vote for Obama.

If you want more Boeing jobs then vote for McCain.

that’s only partially right: with Obama you will not even get the McDonalds jobs

  2. Rich Says:

If Obama wins, you will have more to worry about than your McDonalds job, you’ll need to be concerned if its your town, you house that gets hit next or someone elses. He will cow down to any foreign leader who posses a threat. Osama Bin Obama is DANGEROUS!

  3. toph Says:

No McDonald jobs because they’ll have to fire 1/3 of the workers to pay for health care for those that remain.

  4. TruthforAmerica Says:

Not only the Cheeseburger Plan, Obama is a CLEAR danger to this country!!!! Being from Chicago, I have witnessed his ACORN dealings, his robbery of the elections in Chicago to get where he is today, his corrupt pals in chicago, i.e., Rezko, Giannoulis (mob ties), his hate filled pastor Jeremiah Wright (remember when he threw him under the bus too? Not really, he only stated he was leaving the church to prevent the parishioners and the “good” they do not to be scandalized and harrassed) – not REALLY tossing under a bus! His friendship with the Dirty Political Chicago Machine including Mayor Daley who paved the path for him and let’s not forget his dedication and neighbor Farrakhan! Preaching that white hate and calling Obama the messiah who will “clean” America! God help us! McCain/Palin for the good of the country!

  5. Joe Says:

McCain wants to tax a health benefit hand-out. Obama wants to tax everything under the sun. That’s how democrats operate. Need to raise money? Tax the people. We’ve seen how well that worked for Kwami in Detroit. The population has dwindled as people and businesses move out of the highly taxed city into the suburbs or out of state.

  6. Kurt Says:

Obama’s politics creates Jobs and Prosperity!
    You don’t believe it?
OK, check it out. Go to http://www.anno2008.com and click on “Pics/Cartoons” ;-)

  7. Will Says:

Yes, Detroit’s population has dwindled as a result of the standard liberal tax-and-spend policies of the Democrat politicians who run that city. Also, California was running businesses out of the state by the insane tax burden under Gov. Davis (D) until he was impeached and Schwarzenegger took over the reins, though I don’t know if he has been able to start reversing that trend.

IF 0bama wins (and that’s still a big “if” for me even today) and the tax insanity begins, where will be Americans running for cover? Canada? Mexico? (yeah, right…)

  8. Alan J. Says:

If Obama wins I’am going to sue Obama and acorn for fraud. If everybody will do that can you believe how many there will be.

  9. Smack Says:

What has happened to the country that a leftwing socialist, with a middle name of Hussein, can be elected president?

We have no where else to go. America is the last stop on the road to Socialist and Islamic victory. If this Obamanation wins, then conservatives and the right must radicalize to prepare for the fight ahead.

  10. Kurt Says:

If B. Hussein Obama wins, we should split the USA in 2 parts: x states for the normal thinking people who stand for the traditional values and freedom and y states for the socialistic dreamer. But the people from the x-states should NOT support the people from the y-states. In 10 years we will check out, which part runs better, in which part the people are healthier and wealthier … I’ll tell you a secret: the people from the x-states will be the winner … please check out the history: West- and East-Germany … In this election we have the choice between West (McCain/Palin, prosperity, american values, freedom) and East (Obama/Biden, socialism, no freedom of speech, all people have the same: nothing …). What’s your choice? Remember, East-Germany went down …

Is a poster child for what is wrong with folks who support BO. No tolerance for diversity of ideas, and basically saying FU to anyone that disagrees with their point of view.

I don’t have a horse in this race as Ron Paul got
dissed by the media until all the things he predicted came true, but this guy is doing McCain a great service as he is alienating clear thinking folks who tolerate the diverse points of view of others as is the American way.

People like him make it impossible for me to support BO.

  13. Bill A. Says:

Tell us the truth James…your IQ is 71 , right??? …..run along now.

  14. Thom Says:

It amazes me that one of the first groups of people the Marxist / Socialists – get rid of, is the Free Press – yet the Press are the fools that support Osama & Biden as the “Chosen ones “ and do nothing ( their job of digging into the facts ) to be objective. Unfortunately they will only realize their mistake when it is too late for all of us.

  15. Brock Says:

No it’s entirely different from when Caesar would throw money or trinkets to the Roman mobs. In Rome, Caesar didn’t collect taxes, he paid for his army out of his own pocket, and the simple bread and money he threw to the crowds came from his own pocket. The rulers made money by conquering lands and taking tribute. 50% to cassar, the rest to the army.

When Obama, raises an army and goes conquering foreign lands to collect tribute, then distributes part of it to me, I’ll gladly take it.

When he takes money from the productive sectors to give to the consuming sectors, I’ll quit being productive. My wife tells me I’m not that productive anyway, so no great loss. But, what happens if 20 million of my best friends decide to do the same thing and quit being productive.

  16. Kate Says:

The question to the “middle class” is, “Do you want to have a minuscule tax cut, or do you want to have a job?” If you want the former, vote for Obama. If you want the latter, vote for McCain.

  17. Greg Says:

An IQ of 71 is borderline mentally retarded… that explains a lot.

  18. Lee S. Gliddon, Jr. Says:

I’d agree…Obama may have an IQ rivaling 71….If you are sold on him…Hmmm…Your IQ is> Greg?

  19. Tom Says:

AH, there lies the rub Brock. Those jobs go overseas with the rest of ‘em AND there are more people dependent on the government handouts.

  20. Kurt Says:

    @ tom
and all those who are dependent on the government handouts are reliable voter for the leftists … (I wrote about this on my website http://www.anno2008.com) … socialism step by step … endresult: an elitaire group of people who rule the country and have everything they want and the others, who are all really equal and all of them haven’t anything (only happy, that the government take care of them … as long as the government has the money to do so), no chance to improve the own life (only in the case, if you chose “the party” and become a strong party-soldier).

  21. lawmom90 Says:

I really won’t be affected by this election, as I will have a job regardless. HOWEVER, I love my country over myself. That’s why it’s Country First this time and not ME FIRST.

  22. Erik V Says:

Listen guys, Barack Osama is going to win along with his Vice Presidential pick John McCain. Anyone who keeps up on current events knows where the joke is in that sentence. :) The reason Obama will win is a multi pronged answer.

First is the cool-aid brigade. If you interviewed 90% of the people who support BO and asked why, they couldn’t utter much more than “uhhh change dude”. Look up the word ‘change’ in the Democratic party dictionary and it says “not George Bush”. Their hatred for Bush has turned them rabid and diseased their minds so much that OJ would stand a good chance of winning if he ran as the “man of change” against the repubs. Sad but true, mental midgets and anarchists have the right to vote same as we do and the only way to combat the crazies is if the sane people outvote them, but I’m even doubting that any more.

The other bigger reason Obama will win is the same reason WJC got elected. President GHWB had huge popularity ratings after the Berlin Wall fell, the Soviet collapse and we went into the middle east and handed Saddam his ass for invading Kuwait. I knew Clinton was a sneak and a liar and didn’t vote for him because of it. Even with all the controversy and accusations swirling around the Clintons, the mainstream media and the public gave him a pass. After a while, people simply didn’t care about the rhetoric and accusations because it makes us all weary. People don’t have much of a stomach for war whether it’s on the battlefield or in the political arena and people will vote in the guy who gives us “hope” to take us away from the bad times.

All they had to do was simply convince people that GHWB was the old guard, a wabbly geezer who is out of touch with everyone under 80. The world was changing fast and we needed the hip cool guy who could keep up with all of it. I mean, he can play his sax on MTV, so how could the world NOT love us after voting in a guy like him.

Obama is riding the same wave now and all he has to do is keep up the mantra of “I’m the man of no more Bush” all while John McCain is barfing up the same old hairballs about being a “Maverick” and how Obama has bad friends. Meanwhile, millions of Americans are standing at the edge of a lava filled economic abyss, worried about their families, their jobs, their homes and their retirement and we’re supposed to give a rats ass about Ayers or Obama’s “Cheeseburger plan” like $1.95 is going to swing an undecided to McCain??? You must be kidding.

I’m a proud conservative. My very first vote was cast for Ronald Reagan, but I’m truly disgusted that John McCain has blown it so bad. Whoever is advising him has their head up their ass and he couldn’t be doing a worse job to let this election slip out of our hands. Shame on him and his campaign advisors. If he doesn’t pull something out of his hat at the last second, get out the Vaseline because every America is going to need it.

Scary far left wing president + left wing senate + left wing house + hello kitty republican party = the beginning of the end of America.

God help us all. God Bless America.

You all are so out of touch with real Americans.

$1.95 doesn’t even buy you a Happy Meal anymore.

    Thanks for nothing, Obama.

  28. Manuel Fazio Says:

Hey there people! I just want to thank you all for making my day. You guys really make me laugh.

You should all first realize that Obama is going to win, no matter what you do. So stop wasting your time writing dimwitted comments. Half of you say Obama is bad because he’s black and his name is Hussein. Oh geeze, great argument there. Care to tackle the actual issue and quit attacking the man? Good. So, would someone care to give me a decent explanation of why Obama’s plans are wrong? You all seem to think that the US will be screwed because wealth will go to foreign countries and stuff like that. Well, you see, that’s exactly what the US and the entire world needs. No need for a major in economics to know that as long as there’s a constant flow of money around the whole system, it will be able to sustain itself. The US needs to stop compulsively hoarding resources from the entire world and then badly redistributing it among its own citizens. The moment you let wealth flow freely, our dear friend Mr. Invisible Hand will make sure the quality of life improves, at a worldwide level.

That’s just me, a 16 year old from South America who would like to see a general improvement in the lives of people from every corner of the planet. Opinions?

  29. Daryl Says:

That is why there is an age limit to be able to vote here in the US. Sorry Manuel, but you have not experienced enough in life yet to recognize a bad deal. If you think that BO will not raise your taxes after he gets in office, if he gets in, you are sadly mistaken. Also, when you try and get a real job and you are left scratching your head because employers have cut back to try and pay for health care, you might find yourself in line trying to get out of this country to where ever you had come from in South America. BO = United Socialist America.

  30. Eleta Says:

This is all SO scary. I can’t fathom a way that John McCain will pull this one out the way he is currently going. If Obama is president, and he has that congress led by the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid, we are certainly headed for socialism. I already feel like an ant doing the grunt work for the sake of all. How scary is that?!?

  31. Don Carroll Says:

Respectfully, I disagree with many of you. Frankly, I love the analogy, and the very sound thinking that goes with it. Unfortunately, the only difference right now between John McCain and Barack Obama is that Obama has a plan. I’m not in love with it. But to simplify this plan to say that he will be shifting all of our capital into the consumption economy says to me you haven’t read it. And really, there are no excuses, because it is easily available on the Web. Read it and make real and thoughtful criticisms. That’s what we need right now; not wild speculation. Obama’s plan is appealing to many hard-working Americans who are every bit as smart as we are because he is very clear about the fact that he supports small businesses and the principles of entrepreneurship over the interests of big business and foreign corporations. Joe America agrees. The tactical problem we have in criticizing his plan is that it’s fairly sound on the basics. Moreover, Barack’s record supports his commitment to the principles he’s promoting. I’m one of those who hopes to be making well more than $250,000 next year (in this economy nothing is certain), and I’m thinking the only way we can assure a total victory at this point is to focus on the executional details of Barack’s plan. Some of these have got to be a bit nutty. We find one (im)practical detail and keep harping on it to take focus away from Barack’s ideological message. At least this way, in the end, we will all have a chance.

My greater fear that no one is talking about is what is happening in South America. Has anybody been following that one? There is an election in April. The minority opposition (primarily tribal) has been vowing bloodshed if they lose. The whites in Capetown are in denial because the city they live in is so peaceful, they can’t believe anyone would ever want to hurt them. But my friends, there are bad people out there. We have relatives in South Africa. I am terrified. America, we’ll be fine. But South Africa, not so sure.

  32. Don Carroll Says:

Oops, I meant S. Africa, not S. America. Sorry about that.

  33. Tom Says:

McCain bragged that he cut the Boeing jobs and sent them to France.

  34. Lee S. Gliddon, Jr. Says:

Tom, You know that is a lie, don’t you?

  35. Christine Mayock Says:

So, I guess in Obamanation he would retain McDonald’s (it is efficient!) and we would be assigned shifts there? It would really be a bonus to be getting $1.95, I was a little afraid he was going to pay me a chit for bread, sausage and vodka. Am definitely thinking we need a plan since McCain is not coming up with anything to fight this guy.

  36. Lori Says:

So it’s okay with all you Obama supports that he openly tells some plumber who works his butt off to build a business that he’s sorry that he has to raise his taxes but won’t it be better for him to give more to the have nots they can hire hime to do work for them……….. WELL THAT’S ONE GREAT PLAN……AS ALWAYS………… LETS TAKE FROM THE ONES WHO WORK HARD AND GIVE TO THOSE WHO WANTS THE GOVERMENT TO TAKE CARE OF THEM………………

  37. canuck Says:

I am originally from Canada. You know, that workers paradise in the tundra that the media and the socialist autocrats (aka Democrats) fawn over on and say we need to be like. Strange. Why would I be living down here when I could be living in Utopia?

Because it is all a load of crap, lies, propaganda. Socialism is a nightmare that we don’t want here, but you will never get the truth from the left-wing politicians or 98% of the media.

I do agree with the wackos on here saying we WILL be getting BO instead of McCain. Though, the only difference between the two is McCain is really a Democrat, and BO is a Communist. Sounds like the hell-hole to the North won’t be any worse in the near future. Too bad we can’t get Reagan back; I still think he would be better than BO – even if he is a rotting corpse now.

  38. Mankato Says:

    My plan:

    Cut taxes … everywhere.
    Cut spending … everywhere.
Get the government out of the affairs of others … everywhere.

I would like the Republican candidates to actually be conservative, and so would most other Republicans. McCain is nowhere near a conservative.

  39. Mel Says:

    Don Carroll:

The question is have you read his plan and do you understand it? I read it and I have many questions!

First of all, how in the hell will he pay for it. It sounds all sweet and nice that he is going to give everyone money. Heck I would like a check, but Don nothing is free and someone will have to pay. I will probably have to pay with my freedom. And my daughter will be paying for years to com.

Secondly $250,000, it sounds good, many American can even imagine making that much in a year. However he is not clear, is that $250,00 net or gross? It is net, does it include inventory? If it is net and not gross, and 99% of people work for small businesses (his number) how do you think those business will pay these new taxes? My guess is that they will pay them by cutting back on workers salary or their jobs. If it is gross, does this include inventory on hand? Once again I think most small business are with even a few employees are well over $250,000 if inventory is included.

Third, he mentions specifically working to get more women and minorities business loans. I believe we just tried this in the housing market and failed miserably. Most bankers I know are happy to give money to anyone credit worthy with a decent business plan. Heck if they are credit worthy they are probably less worried about their business plan. It did not work to bring unqualified borrowers into the housing market, it will not work to bring unqualified borrowers to business banking market.

  40. LarryG Says:

My only suggestion is: Buy enough ammo to protect yourself and your loved ones.

  41. Alice Says:

@Don Caroll says: Obama’s plan is appealing to many hard-working Americans who are every bit as smart as we are….

Are you sure? The scary thing is in the US at the moment that the Congress and the Senate are in the hands of the Democrats as well. Further your income is quite high, not many hard working middle class earn this.

@Don says: We have relatives in South Africa. I am terrified. America, we’ll be fine. But South Africa, not so sure.

What do you want the US to do? Let all the whites of South Africa get into the States, when it goes wrong? Don’t you forget that the Left of the Democrats were behind the ANC. And that it was Jimmy Carter who was big mates with Mugabe and still refuse to criticize this monster.
Carter refused to meet in 1979 the first black prime minister of Zimbabwe Mr Muzerewa, refused to lift the 14 years of total sanctions because Muzerewa was not a communist.
But what, Don, should the US do about South Africa??? Or Zimbabwe? I don’t think that the average Joe and Bill gives a monkey’s what will happen in South Africa. Getting your relatives out is your problem. I still have relatives in Zimbabwe and they rightly are claiming that even though they are white, they are Zimbabweans and will sit out the ride with their fellow black Zimbabweans. I am sure that your privileged relatives in Cape Town will do the same.

But I am almost sure that they are liberals, they will not join the fight for the Boers of which 2000 already have been murdered. They love the black people in the halls of fame but never met the ones in the street. They don’t know real life in South Africa and were probably behind the ANC, closing their eyes what is really happening. So they should get real or get out.

  42. Alice Says:

By the Way Don, it are the blacks on the streets in South Africa, who will be the real victims as they will be targeted, just like in Zimbabwe and in Sudan and in…..by the ones in power if they carry the wrong party card.

  43. Kurt Says:

    @ mankato:
McCain wasn’t my first choice – but ANYBODY would be better than Hussein Nobama. We cannot allow, that the traditional American values are sold and betrayed – by Nobama and his liberals, socialists, communists and islamitic friends

    @ Mel
    you are right

  44. sebring Says:

Since America’s great Left Coast (the land of the fruits and nuts) and other monied liberals across this country have been so actively poisoning the thinking of those already on the dole or otherwise uncommitted to anything (even their own freedom), it seems that at this late date, about the only prayer left is that there are a LOT more well-informed conservative Americans
who are just waiting for election day to loudly voice their opinions and overwhelmingly defeat Obama and all of his socialistic/communistic supporters. The people of this nation have to realize what this election really is all about: FREEDOM (McCain) or SOCIALISM (Obama). Which will it be????

  45. Carter Says:

As we focus on the consequences of an Obama victory, let’s not forget that it is quite possible that he and his congressional cronies will appoint 3 Supreme Court justices in the next 4 years. Can you imagine what could happen to our constitution?

Representatives and senators will be on the ballots in November as well. It seems as though we are so busy worrying about Obama and McCain that we’re giving congress a free pass. Please say it isn’t so! Get rid of Barny and friends!

  46. Manuel Fazio Says:

@Kurt: seriously, what values are you talking about? USA was supposed to be a land of freedom and democracy. Your comments filled with pejorative remarks against groups that rightfully exist certainly go against whatever values you’re trying to defend.

  47. cecelia smith Says:

McCain wants to send airforce tanker (which has been tabled until after the election) to france. he wasn’t for boeing before and that won’t change if he is elected, neither candidate is anything but a puppet for the NWO crashing down on us.

  48. Jim Nance Says:

Cecelia, I am sure that you are one of them that complain about the $10,000 Air Force toliet seats.

McCain was very courageous to challenge the Air Force bidding processes that was allowing Boeing to inflat its cost to the US taxpayer without any true competition.

I guess you must like those $10,000 Air Force toliet seats.

  49. gilbert lee johnson Says:

Don’t elect BHO or we will destroyed in 2 years as .he don’t love our country as he don’t salute our flag. we must pray that God will take care of this problem as He sees fit. May God Bless Our country and put ll Chronicles 7:14nto effect for all of us. as we must do.

  50. James Hart Says:

Man, Erik V thats very stereotypical thing for you to say. Now tell me what poll did you see or personally take to be able to state such a jackass comment that 90% of Barack supporters only can utter “change dude”

and Kurt I love the idea to split the country up in 2 reminds me of the Confederate and the Union. Your mom must be proud to have an idiot for a child .

  51. Kurt Says:

    @ james

    OMG, you have no clue!

Nobama supporters are the idiots who don’t know what they’ll get (or the the loser, who need Nobama and the money of the taxpayer; there is a third group: the people who need help but they will get help in OUR system too)

NObama and Biden want to change our system, our economy system (Biden in his speech, as he warned, that we will get a crisis, because they want to test the unexperienced NObama, who probably might make a wrong decision but we should stand with him, said: we have a problem with our system …). NObama and his socialistic crew want to change America in a fatal way.

    And:
I don’t want to pay for NObama’s socialistic dreams
I don’t want to live in a socialistic system
I don’t want to work and to pay for illegal aliens and the lazy dogs and the junkies out there
I don’t want a nanny government and stupid regulations and to be patronized and dominated by the government
I want to decide by myself, who deserves it to get MY money, to which group or organization I give a donation (and don’t want to give my money to Nobama to share it with people, I don’t want to support!)

I’m sure, most americans are thinking in the same way (but don’t know what they can expect with Nobama, because they -fortunately- never made the experiences of socialism).

The described scenario of a divided country was theoretical but with a serious background. If NObama wants the United Socialistic States of America, why should all of us suffer in such a system? Most American don’t want such a system!!! If Nobama would like to install such a system and he has some stupid followers who would love to live in such a system, then give him a part of the country, where he can run his experiment with his crowd of followers – but without support (money) of all the others!

Germany made this experience: 2 countries with Germans, same language, same „race“ of people, two different systems. You know the result? If you and the Nobama followers are stupid and not able to learn from history, then make your own experiences – but not at the cost of all the other Americans!

There is another possibility: if you like to live in socialism, immigrate to a socialistic country! There you can live your dream immediately and you haven’t to wait till Nobama finished his job of destructing America!

  52. George Says:

Neither candidate deserves to be President. The McCain/Palin ticket and the Obama/Biden ticket are equally corrupt. We need a split Congress and hopefully the partisanship will result in petty squabbling and will prevent too much damage for the next 4 years.

  53. HighNoon Says:

    Right on George.

  54. Jim Nance Says:

Sorry to bust your bubbles, George and Highnoon, it is highly likely that the Democrats will increase their majorities in both the House and the Senate and perhaps Obama in as President.

There is a slight chance that the Democrats will get a filibuster proof majority in the Senate.

The only way to have your partisanship divided government is for McCain/Palin to win.

  55. Landon Says:

It amazes me that every Obama supporter who comments on this website is downright mean and nasty in their comments. Am I seeing a parallel between them and their candidate? People need to realize that Obama doesn’t know what he’s doing. He’s been thrust into a position and he has to be told every step to make by his political advisors. People just vote for him beacuse he slapped the word “change” on a sign and hung it in front of a podium. If you want real change, check out McCain/Palin’s policies. They’re much better for the economy. and they’re not killing babies and making toasts to terrorists in the process.

  56. sickofliberals Says:

    To Larry G–Already done.
To Smack–couldn’g agree more. Do I hear the sound of tea bags hitting the water yet?

  57. Mark Says:

The problem is, all of the McDonald’s jobs will be held by illegal aliens.
