Higher TAXES and INCREASED GASOLINE PRICES NOW ON THE BALLOT!

Dina Titus Files to Oppose Congressman Porter for 3rd Congressional District

State Senator Dina Titus is launching a bid for Congress today, May 13.

Senator Titus will file for Congressional District 3 this morning at 9 a.m. at the Clark County Government Center.  The race for Congressional District 3 is expected to be one of the most competitive in the nation, as the district has flipped from an evenly divided district to one trending Democratic.

Titus will keep up a tradition today - when she first filed for state Senate in 1988, Sen. Bob Coffin paid her filing fee to encourage her to run.  When she files for Congress, Coffin will be there to pay the $300 fee, just as he did when she ran for state Senate.

“In 1988, I said to Dina, ‘I’m going to be your first contributor and pay your filing fee.’ I was encouraging her to run, and I had to put my money where my mouth was,” Coffin said.

Lee ADDS: If you really want higher taxes, less Municipal services and gasoline prices to increase, VOTE Titus!
