The mainstream newpapaers and television media (ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC) all say that their polls reflect that the majority of America thinks that, “The Democrats can do a better job with the economy than the Republicans can.”

Lets look at history, recent history, on that claim.

Jimmy Carter Presided over a Congress that had a majority that were Democrats in both Houses. America ended up with a 20 percent prime rate and 20 percent inflation! PORK spending was rampant! For just one example of the waste was the money spent on doing research on the effects of ‘homosexual seagulls’ on the American society! Jimmy wanted to creat an IMPUTED PROPERTY TAX that would require that we pay taxes on the FULL ASKING PRICE of goods even if we bargained and got a reduction!

Under the thumb of a Democrat President and a Democrat majority in the Senate and the House of Representatives we were forced to wait hours and hours to fill our cars with gasoline! We watched as car prices went OUT OF SIGHT! Jimmy Carter’s answer to the Russian invasion of Afghanistran was to BOYCOTT the Olympics! Our CIA was decimated! (It has yet to recover)

“We will do better,” the Dems promise!

If the times of Jimmy Carter and the downturn realized in the last year of Clinton’s Presidency are any indication of what lays ahead for America should the Dems regain power, I shuddder to think of the end results!

Could it be that the polls repoted by our ‘main stream media’ are really ‘untrue?’ just like the report that says,” The majority of Americans are not happy with the economy of America,” and INDEPENDENT SURVEYS reveal that ‘86 PERCENT of our citizens are happy with their financial status today!’

The real question here is, ‘WHO IS KIDDING WHO?’
