Where is STATE COLLECTED Child Support Money going…

I was shocked to learn that when a state collects money from a delinqent spouse that money is not paid to the spouse with the children! That mnoey, for the most part, is retained by the state and applied to money paid for welfare and such.

 In a word…that is disgusting!

The child support allowed by a court is not for the support of any child save the child of the spouse awarded that child support money! What devious person thought to even imply the money be for any other person? This is wrong and must be stopped! The children of a person paying child support through state collections continues to belong to the children of the payor and no one else! It is the child’s money, not welfare nor any other state fund!

You may say, ‘If the mother is on welfare the money belongs to welfare as repayment! That is pure hogwash! Even if the child is on welfare the collected money is the child’s and if the state wishes to discontinue paying the child welfare then the person making that decision does not belong in the decision making system! Welfare comes from tax payments, no where else!
