The constant drumbeat of, ‘give the Guantanamo prisoners a criminal trial,’ is beyond comprehension!
If a US soldier was on a battlefield in Iwo Jima I can not imagine any American saying, “The prisoners that were caught, put them on criminal trial.” If a soldier of the North Vietnamese Army were caught throwing hand grenades into US troop positions, would we try him as a thief? I could cite so many scenarios and bore you to tears with the actions that an enemy combatant might utilize to kill US troops but I think I made my point!
Why would any American say, “The men that were made prisoners on a battlefield, try them like you would try any other ordinary criminal? I can think of ONLY ONE answer! That answer is, ‘The Lefts attorneys want the US taxpayer to pay them to represent terrorists captured on a battlefield as ordinary criminals.”
They are willing to stoop that low to make money. The Left is so very anti-President Bush that they are joining in with the legal crowd and demanding trials for terrorists. Terrorists that would do or say anything to get free long enough to kill us!
I hear President Bush being likened to Mussilini, Hitler, Stalin and horrible thugs, when all he has done is to keep America safe! I hear President Bush being damned for conducting a war in a humane manner and named as a war criminal. I see renowned entertainers going to countries run by Dictators and saying anything they can think of to have others think ill of our President Buash and America.
If America will stand UNITED we can show the world what freedom and human Rights are all about. But, if the divisevness continues and the Left has their way, we risk all that we are.
Close Guantanamo and do what with the terrorists confined there? Get out of Iraq and what do you think would be the end result? Try a terrorist as a criminal and set him free because the soldier that caught him cannot be found due to battlefield chaos. Now, allow a Immigration Attorney to have him (the terrorist) set free in the USA, what do you think would happen?
These people that are demanding we close Guantanamo are insane; insane with Liberal ideas. Would they have sought the freedom for a Japanese soldier caught in a Banzai charge? Not ever!
