For years the Left has been saying ‘NO’, to offshore drilling, Alaskan drilling, nuclear power plant construction, shale oil production, building refineries and anything designed to stop the energy ‘crunch’ we are facing today. As they have fought against energy plans they ask, ‘Why doesn’t the Republican Party do something about energy provision?’

Solar, wind, and any form of developing energy depends on current fossil fuel sources for all they do. Without gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum products how will we travel to sites for construction of anything? It takes bulldozers, cranes, backhoes, trucks and cars to build until we have developed other sources.

The Left has only one thought in mind and that thought is, ’stay in office.’ no matter that the voters and American citizens are getting ’soaked’ at the gas pump. Heating oil prices skyrocket and Congress only obstructs any and all fixes.  They scream. ‘Vote for us, we have a better idea yet NEVER EXPRESS one.

I have written Letters to the Editor on this subjest and have been published only to read the ‘Rebuttal Letter’ that claim we, the Republicans, are “shortsighted’ and unwilling to develop alternate energy sources! But, who is really ’shortsighted?’

Well, I’ll name a few. Harry ‘Hands Up’ Reid, (D-NV), Ted Kennedy, (D-Ma), Hillary Clinton and Schumer, Both (D-NY), Robert ’KKK’ Byrd, (D-WV), Rep. John ‘Big Spender’ Murtha, (D-PA) and most Democrats are truly ’shortsighted!’ Not a one of them has your best interests at heart’ not a single one!
