The President and the Department of Transportation are still fighting Congress. Congress needs to stand firm and keep all their amendments to cut off funding for the DOT’s Mexican trucking pilot program.  Both the U.S. House of Representatives’ and Senate’s respective versions of the fiscal year 2008 transportation appropriations bills have all funding stripped from the Mexican trucking pilot program.
