The fires that destroyed vast areas of Southern Cailfornia are being attributed to President Bush. According to the Liberal mindset, “President Bush should have foreseen the fires in California and had the National Guard there to make sure they never happened. He (President Bush) has committed over 50 percent of the National Guard’s manpower and equipment (to Iraq) that would have been needed for fire prevention.”

I cannot think of a more foolish and poorly thought out position as the ones stated above. Leave it to a desperate Liberal to come up with a thought such as that. Senator Barbara Boxer tried to put forth that concept and apply it to the California National Guard only to learn that only 2,000 National Guard troops were in Iraq and 17,000 of them were in California with their equipment available for use!

Desperation for a scapegoat is the constant thought and goal of the Liberal Wing of the Democrats. As I said in a Letter to The Editorial Manager of the Las Vegas SUN and got it printed, “Let a moose pass gas in the woods and some Liberal will find a reason to blame it on President Bush.” If it were not so utterly foolish it would be amusing!
