Today our children are hearing the President of the United States of America being called a liar, a ‘cowboy,’ dumb, and about every cheap shot and name the Left can dream up. Senator Harry ‘Hands Up’ Reid, (D-NV) leads the pack. Following his (Reid’s) lead Democrat after Democrat throws in his or her ‘two cents worth,’ and then they all wonder why our children are not growing up with the values necessary to perpetuate our way of life.

The Left has infiltrated our school system. From grade schools, middle schools, high schools and on into college nothing of is taught to our children to allow them to learn just how great of a nation the United States is. They are taught to be more receptive of an alternate life style than they are taught American History. They are taught more about sex, at younger ages, than they are taught about Civics. They are taught nothing about the ‘WHY’ America is a great nation.

When a child is taught that our military is ‘uneducated’ (Senator John Kerry) and see the ROTC banned from college campuses and high schools, how are our children to be expected to learn to defend themselves from an enemy hellbound on destroying our nation? When they hear and obvious lie, America has lost in Iraq,(Thanks to Harry ‘Hands Up’ Reid) and the press will not print a correction, how are they to learn the truth?

Lie after lie, continual deriding of our Administration, cover up of misdeeds, defend the person who tells a lie and spin it until no-one can determine what the truth of the matter is, well, that defines the word WRONG!

Where is it written that it is wrong to honor a fallen hero? Where is it written that the main stream new media should avoid telling the story of a man who gave his life to save his fellow men? Who thought up ignoring the feats of the men and women who fought to keep America free? Do you know how many of our children know anything about Lt. Michael Murphy? What about Audie Murphy? Can any of them name the service branch of Greg ‘Pappy’ Boyington? Alvin York? I could go on and on but sadly I think I know the answer.

Our Elected Officials, especially those of the Left, have fallen prey to political power; political power and money. Rather than going into office to properly do the business of the people, they go into office to ‘line their pockets,’ then they want to stay in office and do nothing more than stay in office!

It may not be politically correct but I will tell you something. “It would be better to be thrown in a deep sea with a mill stone tied around your neck than to harm a child.” To harm a child is to teach a child something you know to be a lie is, in fact, true!

Our children are our future…give them a chance to gain true values not the values you espouse to keep you in office.
